In 2019 Annemarie succesfully completed a part-time study of Innovative Choir Leading at the Royal Academy of Music Aalborg/Aarhus (Denmark). This study focuses on new, effective and above all fun ways of making your choir sound “just right”.
An important element in this is the philosophy of The Intelligent Choir, developed by professor Jim Daus Hjernøe. For more information about this concept and about prof. Hjernøe, visit the website www.theintelligentchoir.com.

From October 2018 until March 2023 Annemarie was the proud conductor of DivaPower, an all female vocal group of 12 ladies, based in the Dutch city of Apeldoorn.

In April 2022 another lovely choir came along: Connect Voices. A non-auditioned community choir based in Laag-Soeren, with mainly world music on their repertoire.
